“Giggle-giggle-quack!”  Thurs.   June 18, 2009 at 1 p.m.
 Don’t miss the summer’s first program with the 4-H Petting Zoo and sign up for the reading program while you’re here! Children will have the opportunity to learn about and handle farm animals, such as rabbits, chickens, goats and more.
Patchwork Pear Performers!  Thurs.   June 25, 2009 at 1 p.m.
You will be laughing for more of this musical variety show filled with singing, miming and juggling. Kids will enjoy this delightful duo and discover how reading, acting, and imagination can flow together.
Audubon! Tues.  July 07, 2009 at 1 p.m.

Join Dr. Bird Brain (aka Pete Stobie) from the Kalamazoo Nature Center for stories about artist, John James Audubon. With stories, music, humor and props, see how you can become creative through the influence of Audubon and “Birds in Art!”
Abra-ca-dabra!   Thurs.   July 16, 2009 at 1 p.m.
Renee Hudson performs magic that mystifies and thrills one minute and leaves her audience roaring with laughter the next! Kids will be captivated by her colorful visual magic, sleight of hand, and amazing productions.
It’s All Natural!  Thurs.   July 23, 2009 at 1 p.m.
Join the Newaygo County Master Gardeners as they teach how creative nature can be! Bring your ‘green thumbs’ and discover the plants and creatures of Marshall Memorial Park.
Ring Those Bells! Thurs.   July 30, 2009 at 1 p.m.
Come make music and ring those bells as Delinda Noordyk shares her love of music and orchestrates children into a real bell choir!
Altered Books! Thurs.  Aug. 06, 2009 at 1 p.m.
Newaygo Council For the Arts demonstrates how to take an old but good book and transform it into something creatively new! Children will enjoy this hands on project.
Who-hoo-who!   Thurs.  Aug. 13, 2009 at 1 p.m.

Who would want to miss this? Join us for the live animal exhibit by Z’s Kids Club Traveling Animal Show featuring animals from the John Ball Park Zoo! Discover some of the zany and unusual ways of animals that make them wildly creative!

“Tump-da-da-Tump!” Thurs. Aug. 20, 2009 at 1 p.m.
Get the beat and join the rhythm at this interactive event as local artist and drummer, Brenda Huckins-Bonter, demonstrates drumming techniques with several different African drums.
